Our indoor red dot lasers are tough and rated at 8000 hours.  The ring on the end of the laser can be turned to a sharp dot, or to a larger dot.  Sometimes static electricity will cause them to burn out, our tech advisors don't know why, "it just happens".  We keep replacements on hand, so you can expect your replacement laser to arrive quickly.
